  • COP testting question

Hey guys, got a question on COP testing(chaging stage). When asked to measure the Input Amps "The conventional current measured into the battery during charging" would that be from primary battery to circuit drawing amps or from circuit to charging battery .

    Cheers and thankyou

measure current draw from the primary battery to power the SG, but dont leave the ammeter in the circuit. take the reading then take it out of the system. discharge your charge battery at C20

Lis I would encourage you to familiarise yourself with battery technology in general. search "the battery bible" with google, download it and read it. C20 is the capacity in amp hours divided by 20 that tells you what current draw you should be using to discharge your battery at. so a 10 amp our battery would be discharged at 500 milliamps.
