    John Bedini's original 10 coiler

  • #2
from the pic, i see bridge rectf on the left below of the ten coiler.. is the gen coil to the primary, is one independent coil from ten coil or just take one strand from one of the coil? TIA

John and Peter did all sorts of experiments with the 10 coiler. Perhaps John can tell us what the bridge rectifier was used for.

        Hi john

I made 5 coiler and I cant save pictures in photo section to show you what I made this is my first multi straind multicoil bedini motor that is made on profi line scale I have problem with charging current that is 150 mA to 230mA at 2,1-2,5A in primary site???
Is that normal becouse til now I allways had biger charging current ?????

        with regards stan

Hi Stane, Just saw your build and i am impressed. Nice job of construction and workmanship! Do you have any info on the primary battery or output current? Just curious. Aslo interested in the 5 lead coils .....are they 130' long? I too will be doing this but am testing with a small setup first on the bike wheel to sort out the details. One other thing.....what # is the power diode going to the charge battery?

I like the very short buss bars and the dual copper buss lead going to the copper tubing.....really well thought out! cool!

              Hi forrest

              All coils are 150 feet long (47 m plus/minus 30cm) it has 253 plus/minus 4 turns the resistenc is 1,2 ohm
that is the coil all base resistors are 68,4 ohm output diod is 1N5408 betafactor of tranzistor is 31 plus/minus 2 input current is 2,5A charging current is 150 mA input battery is 100Ah output battery is 80 Ah
              hope this helps

              With regards stan

                Stane,
Nice build. I assume the magnets are scalar north? if not then change them to scalar north. also all 3 of those copper bus pipes, need to have the ends tied together to for an inductance loop, especially the charge battery positive. also diodes should be voltage drop matched across the junction, resistors to bases should be exactly the same. your charging will go up if you close the charge battery positive bus.

pleas post pics of collector after diode, trigger at base. want to see the slope of the trigger signal.

                  Hi Tom C

First: thanks for sugestions I was allways asking my self whay everybody has bus pipes tidet together when I wached the pictures from other builds.
secondiods are mached litle ones from E to B are 0,498 V
                  big ones 1n5408 are 0,569 V
resistors are hybid made (ceramiks made in 0,5 % exact)thats 68,43 ohm (all of them)
three: wrote down how many r60 rods I have in every core (125 rods) and howmany turns in every row on coil
at the moment I have conected 4 coils the fifth one is not conected yet
four: I dont know what you mean with scalar nort ?? did you mean super scalar north or just scalar north
my arangment is all six pols are north facing out. with allmoust 3 kg havy rotor.
Can you explain me what did you mean with:diodes should be voltage drop matched across the junction????

first and second picture is taken from Colektor, pictur three is from baseClick image for larger version

                    stane,

scalar north is 2 north poles glued together, then that north to north is glued on edge, that is what provides the sharp switching.

that thing looks like you have multiple trigger coils, and they are not matched. is there just one master coil? things are definately no alright on that machine, turn off all the coils except the master, do a scope shot, then add coils one at a time.

                      Hi Tom C

I o you for a drink you were right there was problem with a triger I conected wire for triger from 5 coil that was not conected to the sistem
now I have primery curent draw at one puls 2.2A and charging current is 0.750A at max speed 2800 to over 3000 Rpm before I had just max 2500Rpm plus/minus 150 rpm.
my rotor is made from ordinary north facin out I do not have scalar north rotor jet I am waiting for my new magnets from this link:

In your opinion ould that be ok ????

I will send you pictures of osciloskop of new set up from base to emiter and colector

                      Thanks again tom c

                          much better,

those magnets should be fine. forget about tuning until you get the scalar norths into your rotor. the switching will be much faster, you will probably not see the hump in the decay if the collector output. your batteries are not taking all of the pulse, can you see how the vvoltage is rising again after the initial switching, it needs to fall off hard. put bigger wires going to your charge battery positives, and batteries with lower impedance will help, bigger ones. that machine should do 1000 AH of batteries when tuned correctly. take a magnet and hold it next to the charge battery positive, you can feel the pulse. put big enough wire on there that you can barely feel it, and the wire does not jump when the magnet is close. you need minimum 6 gauge on there. your trigger is leaky also see how it climbs slowly before the switch, tighten up that circuit. see if you can get a nice square wave on both sides, what could cause that?

                          better connections all around please.
did you close the loop on the charge battery positive?

                            Hi tom

I allready have 4 gauge (5mm) big wire and when I tested it with magnet I couldent feel nothing, mybe joints on main buses are couse for this I screw them together but this the only conection made like this everything else is soldered together.
I will close the loop tomorow all the shops are closed today.
one more question about baterys how to lower the impedanc can I put three mybe for baterys at the end and thied them together to 12 volt aragement and at input I would put big condenzor ???
or mybe I can put this at the end :
Maxwell Technologies D Cell Series Ultracapacitors Board Mounted Cells
I have them at home just for lowering impedance (internal impedanc of one is I thing 7 microohm)

                            With regards Stane

the easiest way to match impedance is with a cap pulser on the back end. the cap is lower than the coils always, and then can dump easily to the storage battery.
