Watch Dave Jones 3 excellent soldering tutorial videos on the EEVBlog. Part 3 is about soldering surface mount components(SMD) so maybe not needed for what we do here!

Dave is the only professional full time electronics engineering video blogger at the moment. Watch his relevant videos before buying a scope, a digital multimeter, a power supply or a soldering station.

I am complete newb when it comes to electronics and all things related. So I thought it might be a good idea to create a thread that more experienced members or even other novices, could suggest books, documentation or other media that would be beneficial for beginners like myself to learn from.
