Nice demo on the peaking capacitors. They definitely work and are time tested. I like your 3rd video to show the difference with adding more capacitance. Peaking caps are definitely a low budge and low tech to get significant results above stock.

Have you experimented with the plasma jet ignition method?

    Here's an example:

    Hi
I really appreciate what you've done for me(Faraday88 and Aaron Murakami)
This video was fantastic. That's a great Invented
I don't experimented with the plasma jet ignition method . but i want to learn
1- Is plasma jet possible with standard spark plug? example: Bendix Autolite 94 spark plug
2- How much volt is a plasma jet spark?
3- Is it possible that this high voltage will break the piston?
    Kind regards,
    ahGM
    Thank you .

    Hey,
Just check if the spark plug you bought does not have a resistor in line...you need to remove it for Plasma Ignition method..
Aaron will chime in to comment more...

    @ahGM,

1 - yes, as long as it is a NON-RESISTOR spark plug. If you use non-resistor plugs with your capacitors in parallel (peaking caps) you should get better results too.

2 - the voltage will be the same as any capacitive discharge ignition system.

3 - it is not possible with voltage.

The plasma ignition method causes a low voltage high current capacitor to jump a gap when it normally will not. And it does it at a decreased resistance meaning the cap discharges very fast so the power gain is enormous. You are getting a huge power impulse. If the capacitor is too big that jumps the gap, it could possibly damage the valves, etc. but if you only use a capacitor in a common off-the-shelf CDI or MSD, then you will not have those problems.

All details are in http://ignitionsecrets.com package but you could see the basic setup on my Datsun pickup video.
