  • Current Sense Resistors

    All,

I know that it has been stated that we should just place the current meter in the circuit for a few minutes to test the primary and charging current but remove the meters when tuned. I was wondering if it would be a good thing to place a Current Sense resistor (1, 0.1 or 0.01 ohm) resistor where the meter should be placed and leave them in the circuit permanently. This way you could measure the milli/micro voltage with a volt meter any time you wanted without adding extra resistance to the monopole circuit.

    Hi Michael,

No, JB has stated no meters; this includes current sense and shunt resistors. We want to eliminate unnecessary power losses within the machine and a .01 ohm resistor is an unneeded power loss.

      Hi Michael,

I wouldn't. I would rather place a switch to bypass the meters like John Bedini did on his Ferris wheel.
