    Hello everyone,

    I wanted to ask you about winding a coil. can I use 0.3 and 0.4 mm copper wire?
    Its interesting how much they need to differ in diameter? there is so much variations on the
    internet i got confused. Also, it says (on peswiki) the wires must be close to
    each other through all length, ok, so can i just wind them both one next to each
    other? or i need turn them together with the drill and only then wind on the coil?
    Also, what difference in wire diameter must be between main coil and slave coil?
    I am building small bedini energizer based on HDD with 4 neodymium magnets.

    First since most of Bedini energizers are based in wire gauge sizes we need to convert to an approximate
    wire size with the chart below.

    For the coil winding you may not want to go any smaller then 20 gauge wire for best results. The amount of wires
    you wind together is going to depend on how many transistor stages you are going to use. If the answer is more then
    one stage you need to have one wire per transistor stage plus one wire for the trigger which would be a smaller gauge
    of 23 gauge. All the wires need to be litz together which means you need to use a drill to wind all the wires together
    much like making a rope. There are people here that sell coils already made. You can check out www.teslagenx.com to
    look at the coils they make and sell. I believe that the slave coils you are talking about are on an older version energizer
    which would be generator coils you can run lights off of them. The standard SG Energizer that is built here in this forum
    has all the wires on one coil and does not use neodymium magnets but uses Number 8 Ceramic magnets. I hope I helped

      May I suggest that your purchase the e-book "Bedini SG - The Complete Beginner's Handbook" and follow the instructions to the letter? This is the ONLY book that has been endorsed by John Bedini.

      I don't mean to sound rude, but just about everything you you posted is not recommended for building a Bedini SG. That's OK, you just got your information from the wrong place.

        Thanks James for your answer, you helped
        now thanks for pointing out for me about transistor stages! that was also i couldn't completely understand, how many of them do i really need? I was looking at bicycle wheel energizer, there was 7, i thought why 7? will one or two not suffice? if I make like a smaller, simplified version of it? I don't have bicycle wheel, saw on youtube that guys made similar devices (don't really know HOW similar they are really) on basis of HDD drive, so for that, would i not need smaller amount of stages?
        and yes, it's exactly what i am planing to build- to have one main coil, and in other side generator coil to run few LED for my from radiant energy, to prove a point of concept to my father, you see You are right, maybe it's not right tread i found, which thread would be more close to what I am talking about here, what do you think? maybe i should have starter from that girl energizer project?
        And before i found this forum, i didn't know that variations from original technologies can be waste of time, as they say, so now I am rethinking my project, and I joined the forum to consult with specialists in the matter so any help is much appreciated.

          Hello John,
          I have read all three books, but I am a chemist by nature, don't have enough physics knowledge to grasp everything i read there, that's why I am here to consult, and about that site, nice site, but then i came there, i found something more interesting rejuvenators do they use radiant energy to rejuvenate batteries? they still need to be plugged in doh I have even written email to teslagenx with question about them and dead batteries rejuvenation limits
          As i heard about bedini technology, first thought was can i build a device, charger, rejuvenator how ever you wana call it, to take with my to the wild, open my briefcase let's say, plug a small battery, power up my little wheel of wonder, and have an output from generator coil for me to have some energy to charge my phone, or gps smth like that you know This is definitely a question not for this thread, but please, elaborate with me

            One stage may not be enough to keep a 26 inch bicycle rim running but the more transistor stages the more
            radiant spikes you will have to charge the batteries. The smaller the wheel is its possible to make it work with one stage
            but you cannot use neodymium magnets due to there magnetic pull is too strong it will just lock up the spinning wheel. I
            have built two SG energizers and an they both work fine in charging batteries. Both of mine have 8 transistor stages. This
            is just one way to charge batteries when no AC is available or sunlight. If you use this technology with other battery charging methods like solar during the daylight hours you will then see the benefits of this charging method. Please purchase the beginners
            book from TeslagenX.

              7 transistors is about the maximum you can use for a coil, I believe it's because any more than that and you cannot drive them. You can use between 1 and 8 basically. I started by building a single transistor SG circuit using an PC fan, you can google Ihmotep Bedini Fan for details on that, but the best thing as John Bedini always states is build the machine EXACTLY how he says and understand it first, then go experiment.

              For a generator coil you need the wheel spinning at a high RPM so a well built machine with a balanced wheel with low friction is mandatory. You should have seen Peter Lindemann's Advanced SSG video presentation if you have book 3 which goes into that.

              SSG's are excellent battery rejuvenators but you need to scale the machine to the size of batteries you intend to rejuvenate. I'm not sure if you are referring to Teslagenx' AC battery chargers but if so they do not use radiant to charge the battery but instead use JB's linear amplifier regulator design, brilliant stuff, not as good for rejuvenation but will care for your batteries for a long, long time and keep them in top notch condition.

              Lastly about the wilderness thing... You would be far better buying a decent portable CIGS solar panel and an Energenx Wilderness Micro charge controller (S3A12) and a small LiFePO 4 battery.

                John I purchased the eBooks and in the 2nd one it said to change the 470 ohm resisters to 100 ohm, now in the 3rd book it is using the 470 again with the generator circuits. I am confused can you tell me which resisters I am suppose to use? I purchased the 100 ohm but I haven't built it completely yet. I had it running with the 470 ohm ones before.
