      Hi,

You can also use transistor BC148 for this to work. It has the same function like 2n2222. The circuit will still function and for the LED it is a WHITE superbright LED

      Goodluck!!

Cu, potassium alum, filtered water, Mg 99.95%. Oscillator with 45' 30AWG, 2n2222, 7.5K ohm parallel with 1nF, 100uF across cell, white LED. 600mV, 3.5mA. I add some water to the top of the cell everyday. It's been going for 12 days now at the same power. The caps make the light a bit brighter just as Carlos suggested. 1.23V dead AAA battery, 9mA draw, 3x2n2222A, 6x1n4148, 8x14m 0.1mm litzed wire. Each transistor having 2 paralleled coils (as seen here: This is the history of the SG Radiant Oscillator and how things get stolen even when you have people you trust helping you)
21V max charged in a capacitor. And much more power than a single transistor circuit
          Waiting for my NICHIA 5mm white LED's 44000mcd 15° 20mA NSPW500GS-K1-W-b1/b2 LED's to arrive.
The last picture (the camping lamp) is their final destination.
In my first test setup (one transistor) it took a week to drop one tenth of a volt from the battery running 3 super-bright LED' and still running like a champ.
Now I just got bigger : 250A batteries and their specs
Next to test: Tesla pancake coil in a Bedini SG circuit and series circuit.

          Valentin

Edit: here's the first build: Bedini Oscillator driving 3 super bright LED's
