  • S3A12 Tesla Solar Tracker 5

Peter and I went out to Bedini's a couple days ago to film some demonstrations of the new compact portable S3A12 Tesla Solar Tracker 5.
Since our first announcement on the new S3A12 Tesla Solar Tracker 5, we have been inundated with very positive comments and a lot of questions.

The price of ONLY $105 USD is just the introductory price and will expire next Monday at midnight. The price is then going to be increased to the normal retail price so get them at this low discounted price while you can. Since the unit is over $99, it qualifies for PayPal's "Bill me Later" option that gives you 6 months to pay it off.

Get your Discounted S3A12 here: http://teslachargers.com/solartrackeriii.html

The S3A12 is definitely portable, small and light. It works EXACTLY like the larger Tesla Solar Tracker 5's, but just at a small amperage.

Here is a video demonstrating the S3A12 with a 12 WATT panel. You can see it charging the battery in a portable Coleman battery pack that can be used to jump start a car, provide light and a few 12v jacks. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wqBCdjy2I1c

While the battery is charging, we turn on the light and you can see the voltage drop, then it goes back up. That shows that the load (light) preferentially comes from the solar panel FIRST and battery SECOND. That is exactly what you want because you do NOT want to charge a battery and draw from it simultaneously. These Tesla Solar Tracker 5's solves every issue all in one single package.

In this video, the S3A12 is running on a very small 12v 30ma panel, which is only 0.36 WATTS!!! That's right - only 1/3 of a watt, it kicks on the unit and charges a 12v 0.8ah gel cell battery. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XwrpKNrRVcs

We are going to show another video after the weekend of this same S3A12 running on a 45 watt solar panel array pushing a larger 12 volt battery to a little over 15 volts, which is where you want it in order to not only charge it but fully desulphate it so that many years of life can be had from it.

Can this tracker handle a 12v 100w panel which would put out a few more amps in full sun? Will it limit the current to 3A? Would it melt

This is a small off grid camping RV charger... you want more you need a bigger 10 amp model.

It would trip the breaker and shut off if there is too much current so the unit would be protected.

But like Tom said, 10A is what you want - at minimum - for a 100w panel.

http://teslachargers.com/solartrackeriii.html The Tesla Solar Tracker 5 - S3A12 (3 amp 12 volt version) demo with a 45 watt solar panel array.

              1. Shows charging under cloudy conditions.

              2. Shows topping event with full sun to little over 15v - the absolute needed voltage to fully desulphate the battery - no other charge controller does this.

              3. Operating a load (cordless drill) while simultaneously charging the battery - load takes solar power first and battery second. If load is less than solar output, remainder of solar goes to battery to keep it charged.

              4. Showing panels direct to battery cannot charge it with cloudy conditions and with full sun, overcharges the battery - so charge controllers are needed for safety and longevity of the battery.

The S3A12, just like the rest of the Solar Tracker 5 series, uses John Bedini's proprietary linear current regulator circuits, which bring the batteries to the proper voltages to ensure long battery life. http://teslachargers.com/solartrackeriii.html

The LOW introductory price for the Tesla Solar Tracker S3A12 expires TONIGHT!
Order your S3A12 here now: http://teslachargers.com/solartrackeriii.html

Tomorrow, the prices will be increased to the normal retail price, so it's a great opportunity right now to order as many as you can. Some people are ordering 10 at a time! We've already begun shipping these units on a first come first serve basis so if you already ordered, it won't be long until yours is shipped.

Here is a new demo video by John Bedini showing how he is applying the Tesla Solar Tracker 5 Linear Current Amplifier technology to the output of his Bedini SSG circuits. It receives the inductive spikes from the output of the coil and on the other side of the circuit, the output is a steady direct current that can be used to directly power anything needing DC.

                  Linear Current Amplifier demo: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=be7_M_Xf5Iw

The circuit that uses the output of the SSG is not available at this time, but we want to show you what is to come. John Bedini will be covering this technology at the 2014 Energy Science & Technology Conference. There are only 87 out of 150 seats left so register now! http://energyscienceconference.com

What it means is that if you have an SSG running, the Linear Current Amplifier circuit can be used to take the output and run another SSG! We're not making claims here that the 2nd SSG will be running at the same speed as the first one, but it does illustrate what is possible.

                  Sincerely,
                  Tesla Chargers

The first battery, I didn't show the charging just the end, but the voltage jumped up, then dropped, and repeated and finally went straight up...the drops show the sulphation going back into solution repairing itself.

The second battery, I showed putting the charger straight to the battery and it did NOT jump up to a higher voltage. That shows there are no sulphation issues and it starts to take the amp hours right off the bat.

                        Hi bw1,

They're already shipping on a daily basis Monday to Friday. Orders are shipped in the order they were received.

Just about anyone ordering the S3A12 will receive theirs in 2-3 weeks after ordering and possibly sooner.

Hi Aaron good work are you going to be selling the linear current regulator circuits so they can be used on the bedini bike wheel sg set up? also when will you be selling the 105 w Amorphous solar panels ? I am from Sydney Australia they are non existent down here john

                              Hi John,

There are plans on eventually maybe having one of these circuit to handle the output of an SG that converts it to DC. The panels will be available in the near future. I might be able to have several variations made - they're going to be made to order. When they're avail, I'll be posting an update on it.
