Transistor model question

Hi all! my ssg is running nice and is fine tuned now, drawing 100ma, charging at 60ma at 2040RPMs... thanks for all the help, i'm really feeling the presence of the radiant energy...

i have a question, i have like 100 MJE3055 transistors that i found at jameco for a ridiculously low price, are these good for this circuit, or should i stick with the 2n3055 or MJL21194?

Hi Carlos,

They are good for smalller SSGs and I have used them on some other projects as well.
