Hallo,
I am not an expert on electronics ( I am learning) but I managed anyway to build my Bedini SSG, it is running perfectly rejuvenating batteries without problems.

Hi everybody,
I found this chart about welding rods categories..
Looks like R60 in Europe is the G2, R60-G is G3 and R45 is G1..
In Europe you can find them easily on eBay

Dear Faraday88, RS_, Richard,
I am finally back to my project, I hope you will be still available to help me…
My SG :
Bike wheel diam. 63,5 cm

done..
I will test on breadboard and if it works will send to manufacture, conductivity is way better on manufactured PCB
thank you

thx

Thank you for your specifications, very instructive for me:o
Breadboarding will prove if it will work

I'm a little confused here...
One or two LEDs ?
Am I getting this correctly ?

will do !
between the 555 output and R12 (10k) ? what kind of resistor ?
this circuit is more and more similar to the JB "original"...:)

page 46-48 shows the discharge circuit parts and specs very precisely, my PCB is based on that...

This comes directly from the JB Intermediate Book (pages 46-48) "Discharge circuit", JB and Mr. Lindemann keep reminding to stick on what JB is suggesting for this to work, for the resistors the book...
Thanks Richard,
Richard, RS_ , should I use 1/4W resistors or 1/2W - 1W work anyway ?
I think I will send the PCB to production, it's not so expensive and conductivity is much much better...
...
OK thx,
should I get 1/4 W resistors (all of them) or is it ok with 1/2W or 1W ?
added copper on pads 5 and 6... too much ?
anything else to improve ?
here the definitive PCB(?)
almost done...
I'm sorry I don't get it, how should the pots be connected ?
Please use the yellow letters/numbers

Now I have 1A, 2B, 5C, 6D. Is that the correct one ?
Just to be sure...

PCB updated ...
will re-check connections and holes
will try the circuit on bread board first...
pots section ok...
