Hi Aaron I am new, this is my first blog ever. I am trying to build a bedini SG that will keep a battery charged that is running an alternator that is charging a bank of 4 batteries which run inverters to power my 50amp travel trailer. I am retired on a fixed income and need to lower or ultimately eliminate my electric bill. It is so confusing when the schematics say to use like " 470 ohm resister " and you look to buy and there are 1 watt 5%, 1/2 watt 5%, 1/4 watt 5% etc. How is anyone suppose to know which one to buy? It would help if all the parts lists would include this information. It says to get a 2N3055 transistor, a 1N4001 & 1N4007 diodes and ? 100 or 470 ohm resistor and Neon bulb, but do not include the specific details of each. Can you or anyone help me clear this up so I know what to purchase to build my unit? Is there anywhere you can get your coils made with bifiler or more and have cores complete ready to put to work? I have limited space and can not make my own multi wire coils. Sorry for the long post but have a lot of issues and like I said this is my first time posting to any blog so let me know if I am doing anything wrong please. Thanks ahead of time for any help anyone can give me.
